What Does Error ‘404′ Mean?
Friday, March 20th, 2009An error ‘404′ means that the file can not be found on the server. Any time a server hosting a web site sends a 404 error message for the currently requested page, it means it could not find the file, or the file does not exist at that location. Either it has been moved by the webmaster, or the link is incorrect (points to the wrong location), or never existed to being with.
